Report Backs:
MEDICAL – First Aid binds restocked; one being taken tonight, will be brought back.
FUNDRAISING – New system for reimbursements. Bring receipts to Steve, Stephanie, Vincent, Amanda.
FACILITATION – Always need more people involved in facilitating. See e-mail to listserv. Working group will mee Monday at 7PM or after GA if it runs past 7PM. Can have a quick training after GA tonight!
New Items:
CONNECT THE TRIANGLE
- 11/11/11 Connect the Triangle event in Raleigh. Received proposal via e-mail to Facilitation listserv. Dave Young requests that one person from Media and Outreach help with promotion, and that one person from Events coordinate Chapel Hill’s presentation. Ideally these people would be able to attend the event.
- No need to come to consensus about who will volunteer, just need people from these working groups to volunteer if they want to do this.
- Question: Transportation. Can anyone coordinate carpools?
- Media, Outreach, and Events should talk about this event outside of GA and do what they need to do.
- Question: Is Occupy Duke involved? Occupy NSCU? We should make sure they know about it.
Announcements:
- Methodist Church is apparently donating money to help buy supplies. Cool!
- Laundry and reorganization of supply tent happening tomorrow. Come help!
- Please do not keep or leave anything around the entrances to the Post Office / Court House. If you sleep there, clear everything out every day! We must be respectful and keep this are extra clean!
- Question about how to camp out. What information should we give to people who are interested? Kassandra volunteered to make a flyer with information. Carl said that he can help print flyers.
- OVERNIGHT OCCUPIER MEETINGS HAPPEN EVERY NIGHT AT 11PM! BE THERE IF YOU WANT TO CAMP! <3
