Join the Coalition to Protect All NC Families every Wednesday at a phone bank Against Amendment One at the Orange Co. Democratic Party’s office (go around back). Sign up to volunteer at http://tinyurl.com/stopa1 Drop-ins are also welcome! We’ll be calling registered voters asking them how they plan to vote, and if they’re Against Amendment One, reminding them to go vote on May 8 (or at early voting starting April 19), and asking them if they’d like to volunteer to help! Together we can defeat this Amendment!
The text of the amendment is “Marriage between one man and one woman is the only domestic legal union that shall be valid or recognized in this State.” This amendment will negatively affect all NC families.
